Overview

The Interaction Designer collaborates with the Creative Director, Producers, Designers, and Interactive Developers in creating intelligent and successful user-centered applications and designs. The role requires an ability to analyze and understand business and user requirements and turn them into progressive user interfaces and excellent interactive experiences for various types of media platforms.

The Interaction Designer spearheads the development of the site and application architecture by having a deep understanding of, and methods for, analyzing user needs, goals and behaviors in a given context.

One main area of responsibility is the creation of wireframes and detailed process flows which will serve as a blueprint for design and interactive work. You will also be setting up and carrying out project-specific usability testing procedures, ensuring your solutions survive the development process.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• A portfolio or case examples that clearly demonstrate your abilities for this position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a must while a strong knowledge of Flash, HTML and CSS is ideal.
• Extremely passionate about creating seamless and intelligent user experiences.
• Extensive experience with designing and documenting large-scale applications, delivering artifacts including wireframes, page flows, site maps and other related documentation.
• Knowledge of developing user personas and scenarios, writing useful interface requirements, and usability testing.
• Knowledge of Visio or other tool for generating wireframes and behavior specifications.
