Executive Producer

As Executive Producer you will be responsible for managing the overall Production efforts within the New York office. You will be managing a team of two or more Producers and all New York-based projects that are in development. You will be a member of our Senior Management Team and called upon to be an active participant in managing the New York office and to contribute to the overall success and growth of Fi worldwide.

Overview

As Executive Producer and a member of Senior Management, you will motivate and lead by example at all times by actively establishing and enforcing Fi’s production and quality standards. You will act as a role model and inspire your team to exceed expectations and motivate their peers to deliver exceptional, passionate and creative work. In this role you will work closely with Human Resources to identify and solve employee relations and individual development issues before they grow into larger performance issues. You will ensure that Management goals are communicated and adhered to in Production while simultaneously contributing your point of view honestly and openly. You will oversee and be responsible for all production proposals, pitches and SOW’s delivered to clients from the New York office. You will ensure production efficiency on a daily basis through efficient resource planning, resource productivity and allocation. You’ll also ensure that our timelines and estimates are industry-competitive. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the local introduction and resource allocation for a new project by managing local resource planning and assisting in coordinating global resource planning. You will ultimately be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships while simultaneously looking for ways to develop and secure new business for the company. You will assist in contract negotiations and establish documentation processes and procedures. You will educate your team and the company in proper business etiquette, approach and strategy. Additionally, you will spearhead client meetings.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Passion for excellence/quality
  • 8 – 10 Years of Interactive agency production experience (4-5 in a leadership role)
  • Proven success in managing challenging clients and business situations
  • Proven ability to lead and the skill to get people to follow
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in order to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to team members at all levels
  • A mastery of the interactive/software development process from an information architecture, interaction design, design and technical perspective
  • Strong hands-on wire-framing capabilities, demonstrating excellent understanding of usability and what makes a good web project
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in dealing with difficult situations and adversity
  • Ability to efficiently work both independently as well as part of the team
  • Be highly proactive, quick on your feet and possess a solution-driven approach to problem solving
  • A hunger for new technology and strive to keep ahead of current and emerging technology trends

  • Must be available/accessible as business needs demand
  • Is the second-to-last person standing, when necessary
  • Must embrace and promote the goals of Fi, and do what is required (and lead others) to reach these goals
  • Must be flexible with their schedule, projects, and in their leadership style, to adapt to our dynamic industry, client needs, and the needs of the company
  • Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must ensure that no production priorities fall between the cracks
